Not all children may have inter play his real name, but they do know what they like. And what they like is the author Theodor Geisel, or better known as the beloved Dr. Seuss. During the years of my early childhood I fondly remember my parents reading me the whimsical talking to of Dr. Seuss. His books were fill up with imagination and humor which made them very enjoyable for me to listen to. As I got older I started to read Dr. Seuss books all by myself. totally of his books are constructed with simple words that make it easy for children to learn how to read. With the pages liberal of colourful pictures and very little text his books were never overwhelming for a young reader. The simplicity of his books always encouraged me on my path to acquire how to read because I never felt like I had to regress up. The themes that can be found within his books may be viewed as nonsensical to some, but to most children they are very amusing. The text that Dr. Seuss uses in all of his books consists of words that are substantial for all children to have in their early and developing vocabulary. I mulish to pick Dr. Seuss for my ISP in this course because I find his writing to be educational and very entertain at the same.There are many similarities to be found surrounded by the books written by Dr. Seuss and my original work . For this project I decided to mimic the writing styles that can be found within The ramble in the Hat and One search Two lean rubicund Fish Blue Fish, two of his most popular books. In 1954 bread and butter magazine published a report about illiteracy among indoctrinate children. This article stated that children were bored by the books that were available to them at the germ reader level. His publisher sent Mr. Geisel a list of 400 words that he thought were important for new readers to learn. Geisel used 220 of the words and wrote the ill-famed book titled The Cat in the Hat. This book was an instant achiever among children an d parents. While writing my original work for this project I wrote myself a list of 300 words that I thought would be important for new readers to learn. Out of the 220 words that I selected I utilized roughly 125 of them within my book.
